segment 2 -slow read short piece

Clear eyes blazing, Black Lux, ultra Indian and brave, coughed impatiently.

Lucie Lucid tossed a relaxed glance in the direction of the cough.

“Black Lux, your turn soon”.

Her fingers ceased their movement, her aporic face indicated a ‘go’ to her co-creator.

Lux drew chiaroscuro details of stormclouds gathering in the face of a bright day. To left and right, darkness and shadows collected, split by shafts of penetrating light.

In the luminous sand at the shoreline, a girl and boy in black

and in yellow slicker pulled  an unpainted wooden dingy out of the sea.

Lucie’s attention paid,  she signed “It’s all illusion.”

Commentary.

The moving finger writes and having writ moves on, nor all your wonder nor all your wit can e’er remove one jot of it, warn the classics. Lucie Lucid is speaking in sign.
Is sign language writing in the air?
Sign Language equalizes  writing and speaking. It speaks in pictures, and thus equalises verbal ( thought)  and eye awareness. Derrida is pleased at this. His concept of Aporia can lead to an acceptance of paradox. Concepts such as god/not god which seem to contradict and deny each other can co-exist. Dualities in which one side is privileged eg men over women are part of a whole and need both to be valued  equally. Aporic ( my coinage) means happily accepting of duality. Black Light( lux) is a name for a primary duality.
Everything is “chiaroscuro” – dual.  Light and dark form the primary duality in awareness which is Life.
Life emerges from the sea. Life is on the life boat, the dingy, the ark. Life is not afraid of drowning. Life is not afraid. Humans may be afraid of drowning. Humans have unleashed the icecaps. The species will face trials, Life does not need humans in order to Be.

Death defines each Life’s unique awareness of Unity. We are our econiche waking to its need for rejoicing and art in the long tightrope dance through repeated peril. Louie Louaye  we sing, to hearten ourselves.

The moving finger represents the paradox of free will and predestination. The one happens in the moment now, the latter refers to the past up to the present.

Aporic means recognition and  acceptance of duality and paradox.

Life is. Cogito ergo sum means (i am) being aware of thinking. I personally delight in philosophical thought which tells a new story, built on the old. Various chapters are possible, spinning out from the moment now.Our observation collapses all these potentials into the one we create. Believing is Seeing. Awareness enables us to choose what to focus on. What we focus on we get more of. The cosmic egg of all potential becomes Chicken Little in this writing. The baby divine human – Persona Universalis.

  1. the thoughts keep coming – It is my lit crit training – i just want to unpack the meanings which wrote themselves into the “storyimage”. It is a heuristic story with many points to make and illustrate within itself. And yet the point is always the same point – Awareness of and delight in Paradox.
